Greta Brown Bully-Founder
Greta Brown-Bully is a well known humanitarian, philanthropist, activist, and entrepreneur. She is the daughter of Hinds County District # 2 Constable John Brown and retired Registered Head Nurse Isadora L. Brown. She has four siblings.
Greta Brown-Bully is the wife of Tyrone Bully, owner of the award-winning Bully's Soul Food Restaurant in Jackson, MS, and the proud mother of two entrepreneurs, Jerrell and Tyrea.
Greta attended Mississippi College Graduate School. She is an alumnus of Tougaloo College and Murrah High School. As one of the hardest working women in the business arena, Greta Brown-Bully is a Licensed Insurance Agent and a Credit Repair and Financial Consultant. She is the owner of Brown-Bully Insurance, Inc., Toast and Sip Vineyard, and Our Community Developer LLC., which includes, but is not limited to property management, and a retired car dealership owner in Jackson, MS (1991). She is an investor and developer with a vision.
Over the years, Greta has given her time and efforts to serving others as a former youth choir director, former PTA President, former classroom mother, Book buddy, mentor, and an active PTA member. She also volunteers for a host of underprivileged schools, organizations, and campaigns. She continues to provide numerous services to many communities. Greta has also been featured in a variety of magazines, television shows, and news publications.
Her extensive service-oriented background and business ownership has allowed her to touch people through her own radio talk show. She currently hosts a podcast called, “Soul Food for Thought,” where she is dedicated to inspiring and motivating others with love, to empower and transform individual lives with their walks of life through faith.
Greta Brown-Bully's mission is to build stronger bridges that will strengthen all families and create legacies to cherish for all, for many generations to come.
